The Introduction to Supply Chain Management course consists of 6 modules.

  1. Intro to materials management & production planning system;
  2. Demand management & master scheduling + forecasting;
  3. MRP, capacity management & PAC;
  4. Purchasing, inventory fundamentals & order quantities;
  5. Ordering systems, physical inventory & physical distribution;
  6. Products + processes, LEAN/JIT & quality management.

The course contains seven half-day sessions. The day parts are covered in four days or in seven evenings.

  • The day course consists of 3 days from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and 1 day from 9:30-12:30.
  • The evening course consists of 7 evenings from 6:45 to 9:45 pm.

Fixed structure

Each part of the day has a set structure:

  • First the framework is given and then the theory is covered.
  • Then examples are discussed and company cases are covered.
  • Finally, questions are answered.

Teaching materials, sheets and documentation are partly in English.

Classroom lessons take place in 's-Hertogenbosch at an easily accessible location along the A2 highway with ample parking.

This course is offered both classroom (day or evening training) and digital.

Self-study: the student is sent the course material and learns at their own pace.

E-learning: the student is sent the course material and receives online support from an instructor.

Classroom: the student attends on-site for day or evening training.

Hybrid: the student joins the classroom session online.

The course might end with an exam.
It's not obligatory to take the exam. Nevertheless, without successfully completing the exam, you won't receive a certificate.

Every year, there are four opportunities to take the exam: spring, summer, fall, and winter. You only need to sit for one exam (if you don't pass, you can retake it). Exams are always held on a Friday or Saturday.

There are 3 hours for the exam. The exam consists of multiple choice and open-ended questions.

The price for the exam is €375.
