What is Green Belt?

A Lean Green Belt is a certification level in the Lean process improvement program that is more advanced than the Lean Yellow Belt. It's intended for professionals looking to deepen their understanding of Lean methodologies and tools, especially those leading Lean projects and initiatives.

A Lean Green Belt certification shows that the individual has a solid understanding of Lean principles and tools. They can lead Lean projects, help enhance processes continuously, apply Lean methods to spot and remove waste, streamline processes, and boost quality.

A Lean Green Belt course typically delves into more advanced subjects like process improvement techniques, statistical process control, value streams, Lean Six Sigma, and project management. The aim is to equip professionals with the expertise and know-how to spearhead Lean projects, tackle issues, and enhance productivity and quality within their organizations.

Lean Green Belt certification

Having a Green Belt certification means that you have a good grasp of Lean's objectives and know your part in projects. Typically, certified individuals earn an average of €50,000 per year.
